Can I foster outside of Toronto?

For now, our team is only in Greater Toronto Area.

I have kids. Can I foster?

We do not foster dogs to homes with children under 10-years-old.  

I have cats. Can I foster?

It depends. We decide on a case-by-case basis.

I have two or more dogs. Can I foster?

It depends. We decide on a case-by-case basis.

Are medical expenses covered before the adoption?

All necessary medical expenses are covered by the rescue. We provide all of our dogs All dogs receive deworming, heartworm preventative and flea/tick meds few days before they leave Mexico. 

What if I get too attached to my foster?

We know fostering can be a rewarding experience, and we also know you may get attached. So, if you feel yourself getting too attached to your foster dog, think of the good you’re doing for him/her, and think of the joy he/she will bring to their new family. 

I live in a small home/condo/apartment, can I still foster?

Absolutely. So long as you are able to provide the time and exercise required for your foster dog.

Do I need a backyard to foster a dog?

Not necessarily. Is more important for our dogs to get enough excersise.

What is the average time of fostering?

We ask our foster to commit at least a month or two until the dog finds a forever home.
