Do you have a physical shelter?
Our shelter is located in San Andrés Cholula, Puebla Mexico. We also have foster homes in the Greater Toronto Area.
How much is your adoption fee?
Our adoption fee is $500 for dogs under a year old the age of 1 year, $400 for dogs 1 to 7-years-old, and $350 for senior dogs +7-years-old.
What does the adoption fee include?
The adoption fee will cover the costs associated with rescue such as vetting, boarding and transportation. It also includes spaying/neutering, HW testing, rabies, bordetella and DHLPPC vaccines and prophylaxis.
Can I come visit the dogs?
Our shelter is in Mexico, and in the Greater Toronto Area, our fosters are in private homes. They can only meet with successful applicants.
Can I surprise a family member with an adopted pet?
No. We ask that all members of the family, including any spayed or neutered dogs, attend a meet and greet to ensure the best possible fit for everyone.
Are the dogs trained?
For the most part, our dogs are not trained, and will require an owner to teach them commands like sit, stay, and how to walk on a leash. We recommend that adopters commit to working with a trainer who has experience with rescue dogs.
What if I adopt a dog and it doesn’t work out?
Your contract states that you must always return the dog to us. Contact the adoption manager for your case, and we will schedule a time to return your dog. Please note we do not issue donation fee refunds.
